Another flash back Sunday!   And I'm not getting dressed today, other than putting on my yoga outfit to go to my hot yoga class.  It's only my second time back since having my baby girl and it's something that I love and hope I will be able to bring it back to my schedule regularly!  It's hard to find a schedule that works with my munchkin especially since my husby and I work opposite schedules.  It works well during the week and saves us lots of money on daycare costs (in combination with my mom).  But it gets a little tough being by myself every night taking care of a baby and trying to eat & clean up as well! And now that I mentioned my mom, I can't even begin to tell you guys how thankful I am for all the help she has been giving us by watching Emma when we're both working.   I think going back to work would have been so much harder have I not had my mom there to help.   After having Emma I was out of work for 10 weeks total, and only 5 of those weeks was she home, and if after that I would have to hand her over to a complete stranger I would of probably have a breakdown of some sort.   But thankfully I have my mom. I know I'm lucky.

  1. Love the outfit :) It's been a while since I've seen bell bottoms. And I know what you mean about trying to keep up with everything. My fiance and I are both in school. He goes full-time. And I can only go part because this is his last semester and he is NEVER home.

He's typically gone from 7:00 am until 3:00 am the next day. So we finally had to take our daughter to daycare this semester because both of our parents live hours away, so we don't get help. I also work part time and do a few other side jobs here and there, and am training for my first 5k, so I run a minimum of 20 miles per week. I also typically do Zumba twice a week. On top of cooking, cleaning, and taking care of my munchkin.

It can get pretty tiring. However, my best friend is married to a solider. When her husband is gone, he is gone for a year. So when I think about that, suddenly my life doesn't look so difficult :) Always look for that silver lining, sometimes it can put things in perspective :)

I <3 love your comments!
